Polk County Tennessee Voter Guide
How to use this Polk County Tennessee Voter Guide: Polk United is not affiliated with a political party, so you may see people from any party listed here. The recommendations come from knowledge of how close to the constitution do they align, and how well they do their job if they are currently elected.
It is perfectly ok to undervote, which means if the ballot says you can pick 3, but you only want to vote for one or two, you can do that. You are also welcome to write in a candidate if you choose. You do not have to vote to retain or not retain a judge either, you can leave it blank if you don’t know. If you do not like any of the candidates running for office, you can leave it blank.
VEC Board of Directors

Our recommendation: James Woody for District 11 VEC Board Of Directors
General Election Nov. 3rd
GOP Governor: Marsha Blackburn
US Senate: Bill Hagerty
US House Of Representatives:
No recommendation bc of how Chuck Fleischmann voted on House Resolution 1100 which would have made their own sexual misconduct records public. He voted yea to send the resolution to the ethics committee which would effectively squash the effort for transparency. John Rose also voted yea. Only Burchett and Ogles voted nay which would make those records public.
